What was the highlight of Hotel Imperial Reforma
Great hotel view with friendly staff.
The hotel is located in a busy street and it is safe to walk around during the day and night time. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
My suite furniture was old and felt dirty. The bathroom jacuzzi had stains, part of a wall in the bathroom was falling apart. The hotel is old but needs maintenance. If you are looking for a quiet room, this is not the place. You can hear street noises at any time of the day.

Wonderful
In a good location, it is easy to reach many sights in the city.
it could be renovated, there are old carpets in the rooms, the beds are spacious, but the mattresses have mattresses that could be replaced. the bathroom is also for renovation. breakfast is not a buffet, they serve coffee, juice and a sandwich. buffet is extra.

Good value for what you get
The location is great if you need to move around the city, Its very close to many important locations and tourist zones are just a few minutes away on foot. The hotel isnt perfect but compared to other in the area the value vs what you get is good. Especially if all you want is a place to sleep. The staff is nice and helpfull. The building itself is Quite historical and has a unique vibe. The hotel has water 24/7. The city is currently rationing water, so in other spots water is only available during certain times of the day.
The breakfast "included" is advertised as a "continental" breakfast, but really what you get is just a very simple ham and cheese sandwhich, which isnt very flavorfull at all. After 2 days i couldnt even look at it anymore, They have a very decent buffet you can have instead, but it costs an extra 10 USD (aprox). The hotel location is great but its right next to Reforma Avenue on an interseccion. So there is always noise. If you need to have peace and quiet. This is not the hotel. The beds are some of the hardest ones ive ever slept on. The elevator has an issue on the main button that it gives you an electric shock if you press it. I reported it to the staff and other guests i met during my stay also had issues and got shocked from the elevator.
